The Economic Competition of the Two Systems and Modern Bourgeois Political Economy

1965
The beginning of a new, decisive stage in the competition of the two socio-economic systems exerts an ever increasing influence on the development of modern bourgeois political economy. The latter can no longer limit itself to empty declarations on the imaginary "moral" and "political" advantages of "free enterprise" because the swiftly growing might of the world socialist system increasingly demonstrates the superiority of communism over capitalism. That is why bourgeois economists have now begun intensively to elaborate economic theories designed to "explain," from apologetic positions, the important processes taking place in the world in connection with the competition of the two systems.
