The study with the title "Competence Analyzing Observation Tekts Using Mind Mapping Strategies in Class IX High School Students IT Lubuk Cemara 2020-2021 Academic Year" aims to determine the effectiveness of the mind mapping strategy used in learning to analyze content and linguistic aspects. Writing observational tekts is an activity of writing with the aim of megajak, encouraging, persuading, influencing the reader to want to follow the writer's will. Although students were initially able to make Observation TeIXts, they began to get bored with writing due to the lack of procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure that did not follow the development of science and technology so that the teaching and learning process became passive and students were less interested in learning to make linguistic aspects in the form of observational content and teIXts. Theoretical review shows that learning to write linguistic aspects in the form of content and observation class IX using mind mapping strategies is more successful than without learning mind mapping strategies. This provides inspiration for writers to use learning to use mind mapping strategies in writing observation tekts. The formulation of the problem in this study are: the effect of learning using a mind mapping strategy to analyze the observation tekts of  IT Lubuk Cemara High School Year 2020-2021. The conclusion obtained from this study is the learning outcomes of students who use mind mapping strategies in analyzing the aspects of language in the form of higher content and observation teIXts with an average value of 78.02, compared to without using a mind mapping strategy with an average value of 70, 75 which is in the medium category. The use of mind mapping strategy has an effect of 10.27% on learning to analyze linguistic aspects in the form of content in the observation tekts. This means that there is a significant positive effect between learning using mind mapping strategies to analyze aspects of language class IX students of IT Lubuk Cemara  2020-2021 Academic Year, declared correct and acceptable.
