Feed Formulation Cost Optimization Based on the Improved Genetic Algorithm

The design of feed formulation algorithm aims to help feeders to obtain more cost-saving new formulas satisfying livestock demands for nutritional ingredients through further scientific calculation based on the original formula. The comprehensive requirements for contents and nutrients of many fodders were transformed and digitalized, and a group of optimal solutions were obtained using the improved genetic algorithm, namely the most cost-saving formula satisfying the demand for optimal individual growth.
