The device 10 of electrodeless discharge lamp according to the invention comprises a casing 11 in which is sealed so that a gas is discharged so as to emit light upon application of a high voltage frequency, the casing comprising two portions of straight tubes 12 and 12a forming a discharge path circulating, so that a high-frequency electric current is produced, flowing through the discharge gas in the entire envelope, and a uniform discharge of light emission can be obtained.
