PRACTICAL USES OF VISUALIZATION TECHNOLOGY

1995
The technology now exists to accurately depict the visual impacts of planned projects and project alternatives at a very early stage in the design process at a reasonable cost. This process benefits all parties by allowing everyone to accurately visualize the project, and recommend alternatives, if necessary, before costly final plans are completed. In the end, the Project proponent can expedite the Project approval process, and the reviewing agencies and general public can gain a more accurate visual understanding of the proposed improvements in a consensus building environment.
