Sensitive Photoacoustic IR-Spectroscopy for the Characterization of Amino/Azido Mixed-Linker Metal-Organic Frameworks

Photoacoustic Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy makes it possible to determine the organic composition of mixed-linker metal-organic frameworks. The sound produced upon IR irradiation enables the discrimination of azido and amino linkers in three different MOF platforms with a sensitivity two orders of magnitude higher than using classic IR analysis.
