Studies on block copolymers of poly(acrylonitrile) and poly(ethylene oxide) by gel chromatography

Block copolymers of poly(acrylonitrile) and poly(ethylene oxide) were studied by gel chromatography. The PAN-PEO copolymers were obtained from modified EO prepolymers containing xanthate or azo groups. The prepolymers were synthesized from PEO with different molecular weights. The obtained results enabled to elucidate the mechanism of the synthesis and the segmental structure of the products. Blockcopolymere aus Poly(acrylnitril) und Poly(ethylenoxid) wurden mit Hilfe der Gelchromatographie untersucht. Die PAN-PEO-Blockcopolymere wurden aus modifizierten EO-Prepolymeren, die Xanthat-oder Azogruppen enthielten, synthetisiert. Die Prepolymere wurden aus PEO mit unterschiedlichen Molekulmassen hergestellt. Die Ergebnisse ermoglichen Aussagen uber die Synthesemechanismen und die Segmentstruktur der erhaltenen Produkte.
