FUSÃO SADIA E PERDIGÃO (BRF): UMA ANÁLISE UTILIZANDO OS MODELOS FLEURIET E DUPONT

This research aimed to analyze the motivating aspects of the merging process between Sadia and Perdigao from the perspective of the Organizational Ecology and its financial impact by using the Fleuriet and DuPont models. This is an ex post facto, longitudinal research, resulting from the analysis of financial statements and market information. Prior to the merger, the companies acted in a competitive manner, disputing customers, suppliers and inputs. The merging process aimed at dominating the market and converting disputes into synergies. Financial results remained stable in the three years after the merger, with no significant financial gains.
