Barge-mounted NGL plant boosts recovery from offshore field

By installing equipment to separate light liquids going to flare with the associated gas, an operator was able to increase production by 2,000 bpd. Facilities were placed on a barge to allow faster construction, transportation and hookup. This also made the plant reusable elsewhere when no longer needed for this field.
