The invention provides a high-heat-resistance polypropylene composite material for an automobile lamp holder and a preparation method thereof, belongs to the technical field of high molecular materials, and particularly relates to the high-heat-resistance polypropylene composite material for the automobile lamp holder and the preparation method thereof. The high-heat-resistance polypropylene composite material for the automobile lamp holder is formed by blending polypropylene (PP) with long glass fibers and wollastonite and comprises following components in parts by mass: 40-60 parts of the polypropylene, 3-8 parts of PP powder, 20-40 parts of long glass fibers, 5-15 parts of the wollastonite, 3-8 parts of a machining auxiliary agent and 1-2 parts of color master batches. The preparation method comprises the following steps: putting the polypropylene, the PP powder, the wollastonite, the machining auxiliary agent and the color master batches in a high-speed mixer and uniformly agitating; adding a mixture into a double-screw-rod hopper; feeding the long glass fibers from a feeding opening, wherein the adding amount is controlled by the quantity of the glass fibers; and extruding and granulating by using a double-screw-rod extruder. The high-heat-resistance polypropylene composite material for the automobile lamp holder has the main beneficial effects that under the precondition of high strength and high modulus, the heat resisting performance is excellent can meet the use requirements of the automobile lamp holder; the cost is low and a machining process is simple.
