The Building of Vehicle's 3-D Standard Part Storehouse Based on CATIA V5

A parametric design method based on knowledge engineering was presented to build the standard part storehouse in the environment of CATIA V5.This method build parametrically the model of standard part storehouse based on knowledge of product by applying the module of knowledge engineering adviser of CATIA,then the model of standard part was guided into the templet file of Catalog to build standard part storehouse.Taking the design of standard part "Hexagon Head Bolts"for example,the knowledge-driven parametric method was described in detail in process of product design.
