Secondary education students digital scenario and learning strategies use

The aim of this study is to identify and describe the influence of digital scenarios and sociodemographic variables on the learning strategies used by 78 secondary school students. A quantitative study was conducted, to find out how digital technologies are influencing learners inside and outside of the classroom, but also in other digital scenarios as the use of technologies is becoming increasingly intensive in everyday lives. Participants completed two Likert-scale questionnaires in which they provided information about their learning strategy and digital technology use in academic, work and free-time digital scenarios. The results show that there are significant differences between acquisition, codification, recovery and aid to processing learning strategy use, in addition to showing differences between the age and sex of participants.
