Hybrid supercon-ductor S /ferromagnet F structures are convenient systemsfor the study of these interactions. When the metals are ingood contact in the neighborhood of their interface, bothtypes of ordering coexist and the nature of their mutual in-fluence can be studied. Up to now it has been established thatin “proximity” systems of this sort, superconducting correla-tions penetrate into the depth of the F metal, and the oscil-lating induced order parameter falls off rapidly in the interiorwith distance from the S/F interface.
