El Derecho a la Protección de la Vida Privada de los trabajadores en la provincia de Quebec

2017
Protecting the privacy of workers is one of the most sensitive issues in the field of labor relations in Quebec, a Canadian province that adheres to the liberal tradition. Quebec is not immune to the tensions raised by the panoply of employer’s measures designed to tighten control over the workers that, at the same time, endanger their right to privacy. This article addresses the legal framework that guarantees the right to privacy in Quebec and analyzes a total of ten judgments that illustrate the development of jurisprudence characterized by a rigorous control of managerial decisions that may restrict or violate it
