Evaluación del estado de la calidad del aire en el conjunto residencial bosque de los comuneros de la localidad de Puente Aranda, Bogotá

In this degree project, the state of air quality was determined in the residential community "Bosque de Los Comuneros", according to the requirements given by Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible (formerly called antes Ministerio de Ambiente, Vivienda y Desarrollo - MAVDT) in Resolution 610 of 2010. Continuously, the compliance with the permissible daily limits found in the aforementioned resolution was established. The levels above the recommended limit for particulate matter less than 10 microns by the World Health Organization (50 ???3) were evidenced, also, the arithmetic average of the data, which was 67 ???3, exceeds the maximum allowable annual average of "WHO" and California Air Quality Standard (EE.UU). Consecutively, through laboratory analysis, the composition of the particulate material collected in the aforementioned residential community was determined. The Highest sulfate concentration was 6.16 ???3, this value did not exceed the permissible limit of California Air Quality Standard (25 ???3). In the same way, the perception of the resident community in the Tibana neighborhood regarding the quality of the air of the sector was evaluated. In general, the community refers to poor quality, according to its geographic location, the industrial sector y Los Comuneros waterway.
