Multi-point Initiation Control System Using Piezoelectric High-Voltage Converter

Multi-point initiation control has become an important development direction to enhance the warhead lethality. This paper adopts all-electronic safety and arming device with piezoelectric high-voltage converter as initiation logic control circuit to study the multi-point initiation control system and to propose its overall design scheme. Based on a distributed initiation control of detonating column, the control logic circuits of the multi-point initiation and high-voltage converter circuit are designed. The experiment prototype of high-voltage converter circuit is achieved, the experimental results prove that the charging technology can meet the engineering requirement of control systems. It establishes the theoretical and practical basis for realization of multi-point initiation using the piezoelectric high-voltage converter.
