Research Progress in Interfacial Modification of SiC Fiber Reinforced Titanium Matrix Composites

The current research progress in the interfacial modification of SiC fiber reinforced titanium matrix composite by coating method is summarized against the interfacial reaction between SiC fiber and Ti alloys,including single coating method,duplex coatings or multiple coatings methods as well as their effects on the interface and mechanical properties of the composites.The existing problems and deficiencies are pointed out,and the directions for future development are proposed.
