Preparation and Characterization of UV Varnish with High Resistance

In recent years, UV curing technology is becoming more and more mature and UV curing has a lot of advantages. UV varnish is an environmental protection material, without solvent and volatility, and can be used on a variety of substrates. The application of UV varnish in printing and packaging is increasing, so the current UV varnish on the print resistance and protection effect is important. In order to keep the printed matter from being damaged, so the UV varnish resistance research is necessary. We explore the types and contents of monomers, prepolymers, photoinitiators and additives to the curing speed, viscosity, surface tension, acid resistance, alkali resistance, ethanol resistance, ethyl acetate resistance, soap liquid resistance, gloss and coating performance. Finally, the UV varnish formulation is successfully made and has high resistance, good printability and apparent effect.
