Real Root Isolation Arithmetic to Parallel Mechanism Synthesis

Most problems of mechanism synthesis can be transformed into that of finding all solutions of nonlinear equations. As existing numerical value methods have their weakness, this makes that people can be relieved to the numerical value method that has the error when these methods are used to find solutions. The symbolic calculation methods are exact calculating and all methods of numerical value calculating methods do not possess this kind of characteristic. Based on symbolic calculation, the paper presents multi-real roots isolation arithmetic of mechanism synthesis. The program is compiled with Maple11.0 software. In the programming process, by rational transform, approximate factorization is effectively used. This method is simple in programming, the analysis is convenient and the results are credible. As an example, the 3-RPR parallel mechanism synthesis is studied. All solutions are found.
