Device for fixing an electrode in the pacemaker bed

2005
A device (1) serves to fix an electrode (2) in the pacemaker bed before the entry (6) of the electrode (2) into a vein (4) and has two parts (7) and (8) existing sleeve (9) on inside which a tube (10). The two parts (7) and (8) of the sleeve (9) are profiled at the contacting edges of a common separation point (10) so that they are fixed in the rotational direction relative to each other until a user on the axial extension of pulls apart profiling addition. This extended position, the sleeve parts are rotated relative to each other by twisting of the hose, and then due to the restoring force of the tube (10) are brought together again axially, thereby reducing the inner cross-section of the tube and extending there electrode (2) detected in a form-locking is (Figure 3).
