Method for laser beam cutting of workpieces (2) along a cutting line (15) and a along the section line (15) respectively predetermined Kantenwinkligkeit by a laser beam (3), wherein for laser beam cutting of a workpiece (2), the workpiece (2) relative to the laser beam (3) is moved with a main movement along two major axes and the laser beam (3) relative to the workpiece (2) with an additional motion pivoted both is also possible to proceed, and wherein the division in the main and the auxiliary movement is such that the laser beam (3) on the main movement on the workpiece (2) along the trainee cutting line (15) is moved and thereby on the additional movement of the lateral cutting edge (17) of the laser beam (3) is pivoted in each point of the cutting line (15) corresponding to the respective predetermined Kantenwinkligkeit, characterized, that via the additional movement of the tool center point (TOP) of the laser beam (3) fixed at the same location of the workpiece support (4; 22) is positioned.
