Typical Fault Analysis and Research on Wave Direct-Driving HTS Linear Generator

In order to guarantee and improve the long-term service performance of the wave direct-driving HTS linear generator, this paper analyzed the typical faults of the direct- driving superconducting linear generator by its characteristics and working environment. According to the characteristics of different faults, fault models are built, and the mechanism and realization method of fault prediction are deeply studied. This provides the basis of fault prediction and protection for the HTS linear generator mentioned in this paper and other HTS motors or motion system.
