Der neue kompakte Geräteträger Unimo UX 100 von Mercedes-Benz

50 years after the start of the development of the first multi-purpose implement carrier (Universal-Motor-Gerat, Unimog) Mercedes-Benz has extended the Unimog model range by the compact implement carrier UX 100. The vehicle is of consequent modular design. Due to its compact dimensions (height 1990 mm, width 1600 mm), available engine power (54 - 90 kW), infinitely variable speed hydrostatic drive system and multiple means for implement attachment the UX 100 is best suited to meet the requirements of a variety of applications especially for operation in confined areas. Outstanding technical features of the vehicle are the FRP (fibre-reinforced-plastics) light-weight cab, which was developed in cooperation with Dornier and LHD/RHD-steering system (vario pilot).
