Subblock Design aided OFDM with Adaptive Subblock Lengths

2019
In recent researches, index modulation (IM) aided OFDM schemes are proposed to achieve diversity gain compared to classical OFDM. In this paper, high diversity order subblock design aid OFDM with adaptive subblock lengths (SD-OFDM-ASL) is proposed, which aims to adapt the different requirements of low computational complexity or high diversity gains by the changes of subblock length. With such arrangement, diversity gains under Rayleigh fading channel can be further improved by the long subblock length, whilst for shorter subblock length, high spectral efficiency with low computational complexity can be obtained.
