Relationship among organizational justice,organizational trust and nurses' intent to stay

Objective To investigate the influence of organizational justice and organizational trust on nurses' intent to stay,and to establish a model of this relationship. Methods Totally 298 registered nurses were recruited from three tertiary hospitals in Beijing. They were investigated with Organizational Justice Scale,Organizational Trust Scale and Nursing Retention Scale. Results Both organizational justice and organizational trust had a direct positive influence on nurses' intent to stay. Moreover,organizational justice could also indirectly influence nurses' intent to stay mediated by organizational trust. Conclusion The administrators in hospital and nursing department should work together to take effective actions to strengthen nurses' feeling of organizational justice and organizational trust so as to enhance nurses' intent to stay.
