Secure Color Image Transmission Scheme Based on Synchronization of Fractional-Order Discrete-Time Hyperchaotic Systems

This paper presents a secure color image transmission scheme based on synchronization of fractional-order discrete-time hyperchaotic systems. The proposed scheme takes advantage of the best features of hyperchaotic systems. In the proposed method, the position of the pixels in the whole image is shuffled using a secret key generated from the fractional-order hyperchaotic system. Then, the permuted image is encrypted using another secret key generated from the same system. Based on deadbeat observer, the exact synchronization of fractional-order system is established, and the decryption is performed. Finally, different analysis are introduced to test the scheme security.
