Design of Low-chromatic-dispersion Weakly-coupled Few Mode Fiber

We propose a low-chromatic-dispersion (CD) weakly-coupled FMF design method based on perturbation theory. 4-mode and 7-mode weakly-coupled FMFs with CD coefficients ranging from −8 to +8 ps/km/nm are designed.
