Dy(OTf)3-mediated selective substitution of N-(α-benzotriazolyl-alkyl)amides with active methylene compounds for synthesis of benzotriazole derivatives

Abstract A Dy(OTf) 3 -mediated selective substitution reaction of N -(α-benzotriazolyl-alkyl)amides with active methylene compounds is reported. The present procedure provides a facile method for the synthesis of benzotriazole derivatives.
