Architectural Design of Close Support Electronics to Expand Functionality of Superlattice LED Infrared Scene Projectors

The close support electronics driving the SLEDs IRSP systems must evolve to match increased resolution and frame-rate demands. This paper describes the design and implementation of the next generation NESSIE2 CSE. Design considerations for a more robust third generation NESSIE3 distributed FPGA CSE are discussed.
