Two-Dimensional potential energy scheduling algorithm for large scale product assembly

As an important issue in production management,production scheduling has characteristics of large time range,complicated constraints and possibility of interfered by kinds of uncertain factors.A general scheduling algorithm aims at optimizing the productive cycle,but pays little attention to recourse balancing,which keeps production cost on a high level.In order to effectively decrease the production cost,resource balancing is set as the final objective,and the Two-Dimensional Potential Energy scheduling algorithm is put forward.The loads among and within working areas are balanced and from the two dimensions the degree of labor power balance is improved.According to the data test,the balance degree is increased by nearly 30% on average,and this algorithm is proved to be practical in effectively solving the problem of unbalanled labor resources in assembly of large scale product.
