Constraints and its Significance of the "Other" in the Linguistic View of Philosophical Hermeneutics

2011
Hans-Georg Gadamer argued that the language of the world experience is prior to all, because the process of understanding is the agreement between the comprehender and the actual object to achieve a common language process,in which the possesses a full freedom in space, but is still subject to various constraints. These "other" constraints different from the comprehender himself may guide the understanding into a better and even more complete process.Based on this approach,we reflect on the problems caused be the proliferation of technology in today's society, the rapid development of mass media and many other phenomena,so that we can find inspiration from the "other" constraints.
