Development and Implementation of the “Outline for Development-Oriented Poverty Reduction for China’s Rural Areas (2011–2020)”

From 1978 to 2014, China reduced the poverty-stricken people by 700 million in total. It adhered to the reform and opening, witnessed rapid economic growth and constantly introduced policies conducive to the development of poverty-stricken areas and poor people, laying a foundation and creating conditions for the large-scale poverty reduction.
