Der neue BMW 7er

The new 7 Series extends BWMs tradition of exclusive-class saloon cars into its fourth generation. This model follows in the footsteps of the highly successful 7 Series which set new standards in the car industry, not least for bringing the first twelve-cylinder model to be built in Germany since the war. Main targets in the development of this vehicle, which was reengineered from scratch, were once more the improvement of comfort, specifically the ride comfort, connected with a further improvement of the handling characteristics which have already been excellent, the improvement of fuel economy, increased passenger protection as well as improved recyclability.
