Risk assessment of optical fiber communication network based on VPRS

Focusing on the risk assessment of optical fiber communication network, an assessment method based on Variable Precision Rough Set (VPRS) is proposed. The risk factors of optical fiber communication network are analysed in detail from the probability of risk events and the consequences. The threshold value of discernibility set was selected. The noise data are eliminated and the accuracy of the risk assessment factors are increased. Effective risk rules are obtained using the appropriate filtering condition.
