Applications of the BLAND-FORD Forward Slip Model in Baosteel Cold Mill's Model System

The strip forward slip is one of the key parameters that are sent by the L2 model system to the L1 in the cold rolling mill.Its precision affects the yield of cold products and the stability of the quality directly.Firstly,the forward slip theory is introduced and then its model structure and computing formula in Baosteel's mathematical model system for cold rolling is deduced.Based on its characteristics,the mathematical model for application and dynamic control during the production process was optimized.It benefits the realization of stability and precision of the model system in the cold rolling process.
