Performance Research on Crumb Rubber Modified Asphalt

By analyzing the conventional technical indexes,it is proved that the vulcanized crumb rubber can improve the high-temperature and low-temperature performance of asphalt.In order to reach good effect of modification,the commended quantity of the powder is 15%~20%.Although the medication effect of crumb rubber is not as good as SBS,using crumb rubber not only can reduce construction cost,but also be beneficial to the protection of environment.
