PMA del Sitio con Arte Rupestre de Pajarito, Guasca (Cundinamarca). Plegable divulgativo

2019
This Rock Art Site (RAS) is made up of a series of geographical, environmental, social and cultural elements that can be considered as a homogeneous group, with a unique cultural significance around the indigenous past of the region. The fact of being located on the slopes of the El Choche hill - which is said to have been the seat of the old indigenous town of Guasca -, in which multiple material evidence of the pre-Hispanic period has been found, added to the survival of some narratives that at Indigenous imaginary (presence of tombs or apparitions of guacas) and its relationship with particular landmarks of the landscape, such as the confluence of the Aves river with the Montoque ravine, the sprouting of hot springs or the conservation of native forest relics, make of this an exceptional space of the cultural and natural heritage of Guasca that deserves to be recognized, valued and protected in an integral way.
