Control method and device for vehicle steering

The invention provides a control method and a device for vehicle steering. According to a steering electrical signal which represents a steering demand of a driver, a steering radius and a steering direction are obtained by using preset corresponding relations between the steering electrical signal and the steering radius as well as between the steering electrical signal and the steering direction; a displacement of a variable displacement pump in a hydraulic system is obtained by calculating based on the steering radius, an engine speed and a gearbox output speed; and then the variable displacement pump is adjusted based on the calculated displacement and the steering radius. By taking the steering demand, the engine speed and the gearbox output speed as the input, no matter what condition an engine is in and no matter what gear a gearbox is in, the control method and the device for the vehicle steering can always adjust the variable displacement pump in the hydraulic system to achieve the accurate control of the vehicle steering and improve the driving experience.
