Digital panel for arc welding power supply based on ARM and CPLD

To fulfill the demand of developments in digitalization and multifutionality of welding power supply,a digital panel for welding power supply is designed,in which ARM+CPLD are adopted as microprocess unit.LM3S818 MCU is used as main control chip,which is assisted by a CPLD,the display control chip,EPM240T100.The MCU is used for controling the parameter input devices and making corresponding control code.The CPLD is used for the control of the output devices by the I/O pins.The code which is send by MCU is transform into display of digital tubes and LEDs on panel.The digitalization input and display of welding parameters are achieved.
