The invention belongs to the field of design for a surface acoustic wave sensor, in particular relates to a dual-sound surface wave strain sensor based on silicic acid gallium lanthanum and a design method thereof. The method comprises the steps that a surface acoustic wave resonator is made on two tangent directions symmetric about the Euler angles (0 DEG, 138.5 DEG, 90 DEG) on a same LGS substrate, a double SAW strain sensor is made by utilizing the characteristics that two resonant frequency temperatures are the same in feature, the method is designed to eliminate the effect of temperature on the SAW strain sensor in a strain test process. According to the designed double SAW strain sensor, strain can be separated from the effects of temperature, the impact of temperature on strain tests is greatly reduced, and accurate measurement of strain can be achieved in any temperature range that can be withstood by the substrate.
