The arrival of the year 2000 can be seen in a more than conventional manner. The approaching century mark has given rise to multiple publications, encounters and occasions in which educators have taken the opportunity to review their beliefs and theories. Pedagogy must draw its conclusion from past crises that have involved educational institutes, the family, the school, the Church, society, communications, but also the changes in outlook, awareness, and the needs of youth as they face tomorrow. Pedagogy must be capable of change, change of contents and methods of imparting education. The challenge is not simple but within the challenge can be found the seeds that give rise to hope
