Economic Subsidiary Mechanism for Grain for Green Project

In this paper,the first-hand data were gained by investigating 120 farmers from 8 villages scattered in 4 towns,and then the effect of returning land are farming to forestry on farmers' behalf was analyzed.Some problems in the process of compensatory activity about returning land for farming to forestry in western areas were also discussed preliminarily.And then some advice on establishing and perfecting the system of returning land for farming to forestry was suggested so as to mobilize the farmers' initiative in participating the ecological construction activity and consolidating existing achievements.It is of important significance in the continuity of returning land for farming to forestry system.
