Teses e dissertações sobre o ensino do handebol no Brasil: panorama geral

The aim of the study is identify the panorama of thesis and dissertation on handball through a systematic review. The search took place through the CAPES Thesis Bank, selecting works that have only handball as the object of study. The works were divided and analyzed according to the published year, type (thesis or dissertation), region of the country and area of ​​knowledge (biodynamic, pedagogical and sociocultural). The analysis was deepened in the pedagogical area, as it deals with the specific theme of this study. The results revealed that the research on themes that involve handball is recent and presents a greater number of dissertations in relation to the theses. The Southeast region has a greater volume of work, with emphasis on the biodynamic area, followed by pedagogical and socio-cultural. In the pedagogical area, it is possible to find a predominance of qualitative studies, in different contexts, with a focus on teaching-learning-training aspects.
