Quantum Interference Control of Injected Photocurrents Based on Carrier Envelope Phase

2005
Quantum interference control of photocurrents in a semiconductor occurs due to interference between one- and two-photon absorption. When the photons come from an octave spanning pulse, the photocurrent measures the carrier-envelope phase of the pulse.
