High-speed recorder based on SCA technology for thomson scattering diagnostic on ITER

2016
This paper describes prototype design of the high-speed recorder based on SCA (switch capacitor array) technology for Thomson scattering diagnostic on ITER. The recorder is based on 9-channel DRS4 chip, developed in PSI (Paul Scherrer Institute) and FPGA with System on Crystal (Cyclone V). The recorder is capable of simultaneously data processing from 8 measurement channel with 14 bits dynamic range and with up to 5 GHz sampling rate.
