Experimental Demonstration of a 185 meters Vehicular Visible Light Communications Link

This paper provides the experimental results that demonstrate a 185 meters vehicle-to -vehicle visible light communications link. established with the help of a LED vehicle headlight emitter and a photodiode-based receiver. The VLC prototype delivers real-time communications with 100 kb/s data rates and $\mathbf{10^{7}-10^{-6}}$ BERs.
