Scientific instruments become more important than before,but the field of philosophy of science doesn't realize the significance of studies of scientific instruments.The article analyses studies of scientific instruments in the course of development of philosophy of science: instruments studies of theory-dominated philosophy of science;instruments studies against a background of experiments research and studies of philosophy of scientific instruments.
