Shimadzu-cat model DLAA-1, a novel amino acid analyzer for D/L and quantitative analysis

Chirality analysis of amino acids is of particular interest in bioindustries. Especially in many pharmaceutical industries it is very important to evaluate synthetic bioactive peptides and to analyze proteins in processing in food industries. Enantiomer labelling methodology is a new, generation of quantitative amino acid analysis which allows determination of the exact composition of amino acids. The Shimadzu-CAT Model DLAA-1 was constructed as an amino acid analyzer for both D/L and quantitative analysis.
