FDP on Social Science Research Methodology: A Study

A study was taken up by the organizers of the FDP on Social Science Research Methodology for Faculty and research scholars. The present paper discusses the topics/ issues / sessions and participants’ ratings for FDP. The pre-test, post-test scores and ranks were used for analysis. Pearson’s Coefficient of Correlation of the scores yielded low positive correlation of 0.09 indicating the little raise of performance in the post-test scores. Participants besides the resource lectures have conducted field study and presented their reports which is the application of the research processes, data analysis using SPSS and report writing skills. The ratings for FDP indicated the moderate level of accomplishment of objectives. The causescan be studied through post-hoc analysis.
