Expression of Interferon-γ,Interleukin-4 Genes on Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cell in Walker-256 Ascite Rat

Studing on expression level of IL-4,IFN-γ genes on peripheral blood mononuclear cell in walker-256 ascite model rat,evidence for the further study on immunoloregulation of tumor was provided.Walker-256 cell lines were used to duplicate ascite model in rat,observing their growth change.Peripheral blood mononuclear cell was collected after two weeks and quantity the expression of IL-4 and IFN-γ was tested by RT-PCR. Results shown that expression of IL-4 gene in rat is higher than that of in control group,while expression of IFN-γ gene is lower in rat group than in control group.It was conclusion the balance of Th1/Th2 is broken,immune status could be known by examing the gene expression of IFN-γand IL-4 in ascite model.
